Spec

This PreScreen Plus Drug Test Dip Card (EtG) is everything you will need for a prescreen drug test. The unique “Dip and Read” design speeds up the process and delivers test results in minutes. Designed for ETG (Ethyl Glucuronide), this “Forensic Use Only” dip card has a cutoff concentration of 500 ng/mL. The drug test dip card requires the urine sample to be at room temperature (59-68 F / 15-30 C), before performing a test. The dip card only has to be immersed for 20-30 seconds, which will deliver results in 5 minutes. The test results should not be interpreted, 10 minutes after testing.

How To Use

PERFORMING THE TEST

Before testing:

Read the instructions completely.
Check the expiration date on the box. Do not use the test if it is expired. Have a watch, clock or timer ready.

Step 1: Remove the test device from the foil pouch.

Step 2: Remove the cap from the test device. Label the device with patient or control identifications.

Step 3: Immerse the absorbent tip into the urine sample for 10-15 seconds. Urine sample should not touch the plastic device.

Step 4: Replace the cap over the absorbent tip and lay the device flatly on a non-absorptive clean surface.
Step 5: Read results at 5 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

Negative Result

NEGATIVE: Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One band appears in the control region (C) and another band appears in the test region (T). Certain lines may appear lighter or thinner than other lines. A line is to be considered a line whether it is faint, light or dark.

*NOTE: The shade of red in the test line region (Drug/T) will vary, but it should be considered negative whenever there is even a faint pink line.

Preliminary Positive Result:

POSITIVE: Only one colored band appears, in the control region (C).

 No apparent colored band appears in the test region (T).

Invalid Result:

INVALID: Control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band at the specific read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problem persists, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor.

STORAGE AND STABILITY

Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature. The test device is stable through the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch.

The test device must remain in the sealed pouch until use. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use beyond the expiration date.
